Course Overview
ROM-101: Romans provides students with a comprehensive study of one of the most influential books in the New Testament. Paul’s letter to the Romans presents the clearest biblical explanation of the Gospel, revealing God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ and His righteousness offered by grace through faith. This course establishes the theological foundation upon which every believer’s Christian life and ministry should be built.
Students will examine humanity’s need for salvation, the consequences of sin, justification by faith, the believer’s union with Christ, sanctification, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, God’s faithfulness to Israel, and the practical application of Christian living. Throughout the course, students will discover how the Gospel transforms every area of life and equips believers to live victoriously through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Special emphasis is placed on understanding the relationship between grace and faith, freedom from condemnation, life in the Spirit, spiritual transformation, and wholehearted commitment to Christ. Students will also learn how the doctrines taught in Romans form the foundation for Christian discipleship, leadership, evangelism, and ministry.
Through guided Scripture study, workbook assignments, chapter quizzes, personal reflection, and practical application, students will gain a deeper understanding of God’s redemptive plan and develop a stronger biblical worldview centered on Jesus Christ.

Completion Requirements
- To successfully complete ROM-101, students must:
- Read all sixteen chapters of the Book of Romans.
- Complete every workbook lesson.
- Successfully complete each chapter quiz.
- Complete all reflection assignments and Scripture applications.
- Participate in course discussions or ministry application activities (if assigned).
- Pass the comprehensive final examination.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the major doctrines presented in Romans and their application to Christian life and ministry.
