Course Overview
GAL-101: Galatians provides students with an in-depth study of Paul’s powerful letter defending the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Written to churches that were being influenced by false teachers, Galatians emphasizes that salvation is received by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ—not by keeping the Law or by human effort. This course helps students understand the freedom they have in Christ while guarding against legalism, religious bondage, and false teachings that distort the Gospel.
Students will examine Paul’s defense of his apostleship, the doctrine of justification by faith, the purpose of the Law, the believer’s adoption into God’s family, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. The course also explores the contrast between living according to the flesh and walking by the Spirit, highlighting the Fruit of the Spirit as evidence of a mature Christian life.
Special emphasis is placed on maintaining the purity of the Gospel, living in Christian liberty with responsibility, growing in spiritual maturity, and serving others through love. Through careful Scripture study, workbook exercises, chapter quizzes, personal reflection, and ministry application, students will develop a firm biblical understanding of grace and be equipped to stand confidently in the freedom Christ has secured for every believer.

Completion Requirements
- To successfully complete GAL-101, students must:
- Read all six chapters of the Book of Galatians.
- Complete every workbook lesson.
- Successfully complete each chapter quiz.
- Complete all Scripture reflection and application assignments.
- Participate in ministry application activities (if assigned).
- Pass the comprehensive final examination.
- Demonstrate a biblical understanding of grace, justification by faith, Christian liberty, and walking in the Holy Spirit.
