Course Overview
JAM-101: James provides students with a practical study of Christian living through one of the most application-oriented books in the New Testament. James teaches believers that genuine faith is demonstrated through daily obedience to God’s Word, perseverance during trials, wise speech, humility, prayer, compassion, and holy living. Rather than presenting faith as merely intellectual belief, James challenges Christians to live out their faith through actions that honor God and serve others.
Throughout this course, students will discover how spiritual maturity is developed through testing, how wisdom is received from God, how the tongue influences every area of life, and how faith is demonstrated through works that flow from a transformed heart. The course also addresses temptation, favoritism, worldliness, pride, patience, prayer, and restoring believers who have wandered from the truth.
Special emphasis is placed on becoming a doer of God’s Word, developing Christlike character, exercising practical wisdom, and maintaining an active faith that impacts families, churches, communities, and the world. Through Scripture study, workbook exercises, chapter quizzes, personal reflection, and ministry application, students will learn how biblical faith transforms everyday living.

Completion Requirements
- To successfully complete JAM-101, students must:
- Read all five chapters of the Book of James.
- Complete every workbook lesson.
- Successfully complete each chapter quiz.
- Complete all Scripture reflection and application assignments.
- Participate in practical ministry or service assignments (if assigned).
- Pass the comprehensive final examination.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply the teachings of James to daily Christian living and ministry.
