Course Overview

PPS-101: Prophetic Praying of Scriptures serves as the capstone course of the ROJU University Core Curriculum, equipping students to transform God’s Word into powerful, faith-filled prayers that align with His will and purposes. Throughout Scripture, God calls His people to pray according to His Word, declaring His promises with confidence, faith, and spiritual authority. This course teaches students how to move beyond routine prayer into biblically grounded, Spirit-led, prophetic intercession.

Students will learn to identify God’s promises within Scripture and apply them through prayer to every area of life, including personal spiritual growth, family, marriage, ministry, healing, deliverance, finances, wisdom, leadership, evangelism, discipleship, church revival, cities, nations, and global missions. Rather than praying based solely on circumstances or emotions, students will discover how to pray from God’s revealed truth, allowing Scripture to shape both their faith and their petitions.

Special emphasis is placed on praying under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, understanding the biblical role of prophetic declaration, praying with spiritual authority in Jesus’ name, and cooperating with God’s purposes without attempting to manipulate outcomes or speak beyond what Scripture reveals. Students will learn how to pray with confidence because they are standing upon God’s promises rather than human opinions.

Through Scripture study, workbook assignments, practical prayer exercises, personal reflection, guided intercession, ministry application, and the development of a personal Scripture prayer journal, students will cultivate a lifelong ministry of biblical prayer. By the conclusion of this course, they will be equipped to intercede effectively for individuals, families, churches, communities, and nations while remaining firmly anchored in the authority of God’s Word.
